Still traditionally made in Frace this Classic Super Kim Can Opener is compact, easy to store and its efficient design offers a remarkable peformance for its size. Easily pocketable for picnics or camping trips it can even open 1dal, 18 litre and 5 gallon containers. Works on many shapes and sizes of tins and cans - round, oval, rectangular, square, ring boxes, etc.
The super sharp, rust-resistant tempered steel blade pierces and then crimps the edge of the tin as it is cut. The cushioned handles rotate smoothly and suit both right-handed and left-handed users. Unlike a typical can opener which usually requires a tense grip on the handles in order to pierce the can, this one requires no physical force and is a pleasure to use.
【 How to use 】
1. Place the Classic Super Kim Can Opener on the edge of the can or tin - for rectangular containers please begin at the small-radius rounded corners to open.
2. Turn the red handle (the butterfly-shaped crank) clockwise and the can automatically engages, piercing the top of the can and locking in place.
3. Having cut the lid out, simply turn the red handle slightly counterclockwise to remove it quickly and without a struggle, leaving the open can with a safe, dull upper edge - the cut can remain sharp so please DO NOT touch or try removing with bare hands.
4. Maintenance - please wipe the blade regularly with lubricating oil (where marked "OIL"). If contamination occurs please use a dry cloth to clean.
